Our History
St Louis Grammar School Mokola, Ibadan was established by the Catholic Mission on February 11,1961.
St Louis is a Christian school established by St Louis Sisters for the holistic formation of the girl-child. The founding principal was Sister Dympna Drury who remained principal from inception until June 1982.
The School was disarticulated into Junior and Senior school each with its own principal. The school has had 8 principals since the departure of Sister Drury.
The current School Principal is Mrs. Sadare (Old Girl, Class of 1985). The Junior School Principal is Mrs. Akindele Oluwatoyin.
St Louis Grammar School has moved from a school of about three hundred students to one with a student body of almost two thousand students.
The Catholic Mission, Old Students and St Louis Sisters are actively involved and have continued to play a leading roles even after Oyo State Government took over the school.
St Louis Sisters run the the hostel for boarding students and are ably assisted by the Old Students who are committed to maintaining the traditions of the school.
